National Meeting of Cahuane Handicrafts

It brings together more than 200 artisans from Latin America, combining crafts and cultural shows on stage. It was declared of Provincial Interest by the Honorable Chamber of Deputies of the Province of Buenos Aires, and of National Interest by the National Secretary of Culture.

It is positioned among the three meetings of Artisans of the Country.

The joint realization of the only Meeting of Young Artisans in the country stands out.

 

APRIL

Mexican Charro Cup

Traditional Polo Tournament that each year puts at stake the impressive “Charro Mexicano” trophy in the Open, and the Miguel Duggan Cup for the Handicap.

Creole Horseback Riding

The objective of these cavalcades is to make a journey through different roads and rural areas for the benefit and support of the Rural Schools of the District. This event has been declared of Legislative Interest by the Honorable Chamber of Deputies of the Province of Buenos Aires.

JUNE

Municipal Autonomy Festival

Military Civic Parade with the participation of all citizens, local institutions and schools, gaucho centers and forts.

The event is completed with horse riding and gaucho activities, highlighting the performance of important folk artists.

Country Bike

Traditional rural cycling meeting recognized under the name "Bonaerense Flag". It invites cyclists to ride rural paths as a way of getting to know the place from history and nature, while doing physical activity.

With the participation of choirs and coreutas from different parts of the province.

Festival of Sports Tourism and Production

Celebration in memory of the anniversary of the pilot Silvestre Ortensi, who in 1927 built the first Monopasto and was a trainer and runner of Turismo Carretera. It includes an exhibition of old cars, photographs and trophies of the driver, of the last vehicle he built, photographs related to the town, artistic shows with artists from the area, popular dance, Cupecitas Race of the TC through rural roads.
